After work, one of the closest spots I can get to that was different than the usual. Upscale interior with a long bar to the side where I made myself comfortable.
Certainly a higher end spot with the pricing to go with it. Settled on a fish and fennel salad ($20) to go alongside a glass of Montepulciano ($17). Wine is a solid pour (thankfully), but was cold for some reason. Entree is strictly what it is - a large serving of fennel with salmon, tangerine, and goat cheese on top. Meet and cheese were very good, but the fennel was too much. Some sort of other greens or intense dressing was needed to cut the flavor.
Bartender was fine and the ambiance is nice; just ordered the wrong thing. -

Amazing italian food in an upscale but lowkey atmosphere - all ingredients were fresh and made for a wonderful dinner.
We started with the mozzarella di bufala and avocado with balsamic appetizers and I had the spaghetti cacio e pepe and finished the meal off with some vanilla bean gelato. Although simple, everything was prepared extremely well and was seriously deeeelishhh. Will definitely be coming back! -

This is one of my main go to's with clients. Mainly because at lunch I can get a last minute reservation for a large group and it's never too crowded so the service is always great and I can actually have conversations and hear the other person. The food is fresh and awesome. I'm always in a good mood when focaccia with awesome olive oil is out in front of me. I could (and once did) eat the entire basket waiting for my guest. Pastas are delish- I've been in the "mushroom butter sage ravioli" mood for the past few months but before that it was the "tomato basil olive oil pasta". I love the pizzas here- so think and crisp. They have both buffalo mozzarella and also burrata - love having that option! Definitely try this place- another one of my staples.

Some good Italian fare Giorgione's. The polpo was cooked perfectly. Melt in your mouth tenderness and so tasty. Not the prettiest presentation but the flavor more than made up for it The carpaccio was tender and tasty. Parmesan ratio a little low and I like lemon to squeeze on but again tasted great. I had the orecchiette with broccoli di rape and sausage. This was so good. Creamy, perfectly al dente and the sausage was good sweet real Italian sausage. Broccoli di rape is much more tender and leafier that regular broccoli. I've had this dish with spinach before, this was a great version! A friend had the lasagna bolognese and loved it. Nice atmosphere with a wood burning fire inside to keep you warm. Fun part of the city. Would like to go on a not so freezing night and check out more of the menu. PS. Was really dark. Best I could do with the pics!
